This thing should come free with the PS3 like Xbox 360's come with mics, ESPECIALLY because how bad this mic is. It's extremely uncomfortable after a while and I spent near $60 on two already because of how fast it breaks, where as you can get a third party headset for much, much cheaper (and better quality).
DO NOT BUY.

This has to be the best headset for the Playstation 3. Easy to set up (seconds) and directions are very easy to understand.

This headset is amazing. I just recently got my Ps3 so I wanted to buy it so I can chat with people while playing my games online and trust me, the headset is so worth it! It's $10 cheaper than in most stores like Walmart and Gamestop, although you have to wait like 5 days for it to arrive, but oh well you don't have to pay $55 + tax which comes out to $60+ in the stores. The quality is great, you can hear everyone else perfectly, they can only hear you, they can't hear anyone else that is in the room with you, and if they can you can just lower the sensitivity. So yeah, overall great item to get for your Ps3 and literally a must have if your a daily gamer like me.

This has to be the worst designed Sony product ever. To turn it on you hold a button for 3 seconds. Sounds simple enough but, more often than not it JUST WON"T TURN ON!!!!. Especially when you really need. To turn it off you hold the same button for 5 seconds. Answer a call? "briefly" hold the same button. Reject a call? Hold the same button for 2 seconds. Hold it down too long and it plays a little song but STILL DOESN"T TURN ON!!!! Are you sensing the frustration? Because if you buy this over priced, uncomfortable, impossible to easily operate device you will join me in only wanting to crush this thing in your hand because it won't turn on!!!!!
